This is a meme that requires thought. In this meme you will take your two favorite characters from a book/story you've written. With these two charaters, you have to put then in a coffee shop situation. It doesn't matter if they get coffee, if it's near a coffee shop, if they talk about coffee, but coffee has to be put in there somewhere! This is fun and should always be fun! Let your imagination run wild!
PoetPassion2893:
What was with her today? Riley thought as she sulked down the side walk. A couple passed by her holding hands and smiling. Riley sighed and turned away from them. That's what was wrong. Why couldn't she be like that? I mean, she was attractive enough, with her long chestnut hair and big hazel eyes. She had curves, she had nice lips, her nose wasn't oddly shaped or overly sized. What was wrong with her? She wasn't timid or shy. That wasn't it... Hmmm.
She turned into her favorite coffee shop and took a seat at the counter.
"The usual Frank." She sighed, feeling like one of those movie characters at the bar. She smiled to herself when she got her drink and sighed. Ah, satisfaction.
"At least you'll always be the same." She smiled taking a sip. All too quickly her world came crashing down! She spit the coffee back into the cup and gasped!
"Frank! What gives?"
"Sorry sugar, we got the wrong shipment of coffee in and have to use it up before we can get more." He gave her a sympathetic smile and turned back to the other customers.
"Could this day get any worse?" Just then Zach O'Nally walked into the door, beautiful as ever with his flaming hair and perfect physic. He sat right next to her and smiled.
"Sweets." He smiled turning towards her. Her heart started to race as she stared into his handsome green eyes. Why couldn't he see she loved him!?!?!
"This day hates me Zach." She sighed, leaning on his shoulder. He smelled so wonderful! Like... like mint gum and Zach...
"Why?" He asked looking at her questioningly. Frank walked over to Zach with a coffee mug nodding. Riley glared at Frank, sitting up again and pushing her mug towards Zach.
"Well for starters, this coffee... I ask for my usual..."
"Carmel coffee with cream and 4 equals with a hint of chocolate." They said together then laughed.
"Yeah, and I get this crap." She grimaced. Zach took a sip of it and smiled.
"That's not bad."
"Not bad! It's horrible!"
"Peruvian Bean, drink hers so it's not wasted!" Frank called walking past them. Zach laughed.
"What else is wrong with you?" He smiled, sipping his coffee again.
"How can you drink that?" Riley asked.
"Riley." Zach warned, getting her back on topic. She blushed and looked at her hands.
"Well it's just, we're Juniors and I just feel like..." She looked up at him. "Everyone has somebody but me." Zach sighed and put an arm around her.
"Riley." He sighed.
"I mean, Em has Ron, Liz has Keith... Even you have someone." Even though you deserve so much better than Molly. "I'm always the loner."
"Well, the only thing I can ask you is, do you believe in fate?" Zach asked staring into her eyes. If only he knew that she wanted him to be her fate, something should happen to make this moment last forever.
"Yes..."
"Then be patient." He smiled, rubbing up and down her arm. Just then his cell phone rang. "Hello? Hey baby... Yeah I'm at the coffee shop with Riley... Sure, sure I'll be there soon. Love you too." That stung.
